Lisa attended Penn State Law, where she graduated with special recognition in public interest. During her time there, she taught legal basics classes to middle schoolers and people experiencing incarceration at the county jail. Now, as an attorney in Guilford County, she
continues to teach as the assistant coach for North Carolina A&T’s mock trial team.

Lisa is passionate about closing the gap in access to the justice for underserved and low-
income individuals. Through court appointed cases, private representation and pro bono work,
she works to give each client their day in court.

Prior to law school Lisa attended UNC Charlotte, where she studied Criminal Justice. To her, justice requires equal application of the law and adherence to the United States Constitution. With focus on these principles, Lisa fights to amplify her clients' voices.
